Sweet Summertime Recipes

Here are some sweet treats to help keep you on track as the temps heat up!

Thin and Healthy Dreamsicles 

1 package T&H vanilla pudding supplement, dry, 8 ounces diet Faygo orange pop, 3 ice cubes

Place in a blender and blend until smooth, then freeze in Popsicle molds or ice cube trays.

Serves: 2-4 Fat grams: 1.0 Phase: Any Protein: 7.5

You may substitute vanilla pudding in place of T&H supplement, although best results are achieved using supplements.

 

Banana Mocha Cooler 

1 cup reduced-fat frozen vanilla yogurt, ¾ cup fat-free milk, 1 medium banana, sliced 1 teaspoon instant coffee, 1 cup ice cubes

In a blender, combine all ingredients. Cover and process for 45-60 seconds, until frothy. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Serves: 2 Fat grams: less than 1 Phase: 3, 4 Protein: 8.7

 

Fluffy Fruit Dip 

1 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt, ¼ cup Simply Fruit, any flavor Assorted fresh fruit, chunks or sliced, 2 packages T&H vanilla pudding supplement, dry, 1 cup water

In a small bowl, combine yogurt and Simply Fruit; mix well.

In a separate bowl prepare pudding as directed on package and add to yogurt mixture. Chill overnight or for at least 2 hours. Serve with fruit.

Serves: 2 Fat grams: 2.2 Phase: Fast, 1, 2, 3, 4 Protein: 21.3 You may substitute vanilla pudding in place of T&H supplement, although best results are achieved using supplements.

 

Caramel Apple Salad 

4 cups apples, chopped 1 cup grapes, halved, 1 can crushed unsweetened pineapple, drained, 1 large tub fat-free whipped topping, 2 boxes sugar-free butterscotch instant pudding

Mix all ingredients together and enjoy.

Serves: 12 Fat grams: 1.8 Phase: 2, 3, 4 Protein: 1.8

 

Guilt Free Chocolate Pie1 package T&H chocolate pudding supplement 1 small box sugar-free, fat-free white chocolate pudding, 2 cups skim milk, 1 tub (8 ounces) fat-free whipped topping, 1 reduced-fat graham cracker crust

In a bowl, mix together chocolate pudding and 1 cup skim milk. Fold in ½ of the whipped topping until well combined. In another bowl, mix together white chocolate pudding and 1 cup skim milk. Fold in remaining whipped topping until well combined. Pour chocolate mixture into graham cracker crust. Pour white chocolate mixture on top of chocolate mixture. Garnish if you like. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
